Pull your socks up.
As per usual I have returned to being as much use as a chocolate teapot. With the combination of the lack of internet and general inability to write anything with great entertainment value I've neglected my blog and spent my time in work actually doing something. I am, however, aware of my uselessness (is that a word....do I teach english?) and have endeavoured to pull my socks up and have my life become one where work, socialising, cleaning and studying are finally balanced and managed perfectly. Well thats never really going to happen, but I do get the internet at home on Thursday, and therefore after that point I will have no excuse but to bombard you with pictures and text as shiny and fascinating as ants in the summer.Anyway...today we're playing photo catch-up. Here are photos from recent events.
These are the kids at Tsuwazaki primary school. It's such a small school but it's great. This is from the festival a few weekends ago.
Blaine's leaving enkai
An Aokata teacher, Blaine and Catherine advertise the chicken leg gyosa...yum!
A photo of us four BOE ALT's, our supervisor, the Head of the BOE, some Ao-sho teachers and of course Blaine.
Lori's big birthday bash.
Here is George...starting the evening off by singing into a bottle of tabasco sauce.
Him and his friend supply amazing musical entertainment for the evening.
Sanae, Carrie and Catherine chill out and listen.
Sierra and Yuki argue over who should feed who first.
Lori begins to open her presents.
Here is the amazing beer birthday card she recieved from Melissa...
...which George looks deeply confused by.
This is apparently a special photo for my mum from George in which he was saying "You're a f**king great lady" though he unfortunately looks a little strange (Sorry Grandma and Grandpa about the swearing...George's words not mine. I, myself, would never be found using such language! love you).
Here is the amazing cake made by Melissa. She's honestly the only person I know who would make such a amazing cake in an oven the size of a microwave.
Lori says thank you to George with a hug.
Melissa and her friend Jin. Jin works in Korea as an English teacher and came over to visit Melissa for the night.
Ipei comes over to say happy birthday...and later cut Sierra's hair.
As you can see the excitment on Goto never ends! In all honesty this week has been a busy one. But look forward to more photos this week, and then a post of some substance at the end of the week.
Lets just say that at the moment, I'm pretty genki!
